Sylvia Plath taught me to try my hand at EVERYTHING. Its better to have tried then lived with the regret of knowing what could have been, thats why i started writing on this platform to have a digital copy of my thoughts. Even if my aspirations have nothing to do with one another i think its important to try and see what “sticks”
YESS!!! its heartbreaking how many people I know give up on their passions because they are "not good enough" or because it is "not getting enough views/recognition". in a world where we are constantly looking for validation from others, it really and truly is important that you are making YOURSELF happy first of all. if you have a shitload of regrets when you look back on your life, maybe you haven't lived it the way YOU wanted to. life is short
literature had always and would always been the fig that left rotten, not voluntarily but by the pressure of the world :/ my one ambition used to be a writer too
my heart still yearns to become the next best classic author (i still keep a word doc open in hopes that I might find the courage to write again) and it really is heartbreaking, how many amazing, talented writers give up on writing just because of the pressure the world puts on people to succeed. people become too afraid to make mistakes, to achieve that dream when the world shuns those who have the courage to try even though they failed the first time round.
lovely thoughts!! Did you hear back from med school?
not yet, but am waiting with anticipation ~
Also good luck with med school!
ahhhh thank you! that is if I *get in*, which fingers crossed I hope I do!
